We asked Oliver to tutor our daughter ahead of her Science GCSE and wish we had started the sessions with him sooner. Our daughter said that it was the first time in all her years at secondary school that science 'clicked' for her. Oliver explained things in a very clear, concise way and she was able to get a handle on topics that she had previously really struggled with. Oliver's experience in teaching was invaluable. Our daughter made great progess in the short time Oliver was tutoring her and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Oliver started tutoring our year nine daughter in 2021 when she needed a little help with her science skills. She enjoyed science, but found elements of it confusing. Oliver broke down the key components, almost starting from scratch, allowing her to find the passion from within to start her science journey. Two years on, she is studying triple science at GSCE and recently received a grade 9 in her chemistry (quite a jump from her 'expected' grade of 4!). Furthermore, she's excited about science in general and Mr Taylor has been hugely instrumental in helping her achieve this, without pressure or stress.
Oliver is now tutoring her sister, who is one year younger and in year 10. Of course they're different children, and she is still considering her options, but we're already seeing a difference in our daughter's desire to want to learn science skills. We cannot simply recommend Mr Taylor enough, and would be happy to talk to any prospective clients for his tutoring.

Oliver is a wonderful science tutor who prepared my daughter excellently for her GCSEs. He developed a personalised programme which crucially helped to build her confidence and focus on areas which required greater depth of knowledge to enhance understanding and help her achieve very good results. He is supportive, friendly and tailors his first class teaching to get the most of each student. He’s reliable and committed and has even managed to instil a curiosity and love of science in someone who had previously always favoured humanities and languages!
